Then, Hou Shenghui, the technical director of the company, introduced the background and source of the project, the overview of standard formulation, the main content and determination basis of the standard, and the embodiment of the progressiveness of the standard. As a key safety component of energy-saving gas appliances, gas solenoid valves have the characteristics of simple structure, large flow rate, long service life, safety and reliability, and have become a key research direction. At present, there are relevant international standards such as ISO 23551-1 and ISO 23550-2018, and domestic standards such as GB/T 37499-2019. However, some important indicators in the above standards are already lower than the requirements of current high-end customers and cannot meet the development needs of existing gas solenoid valve products. Based on this situation, the standard of Zhejiang Made Gas Appliance Solenoid Valve mainly drafted by the company this time has three major progressiveness. First, in order to reduce the risk of gas leakage of products, put an end to gas appliance explosion, and improve the gas tightness requirements of products; Secondly, in order to reduce the risk of product damage caused by prolonged heating during power on, the requirement for continuous power on test time has been extended; The third is to reduce the occurrence of ignition failure and detonation faults, and to increase the requirements for opening time.

Then, experts carefully checked each standard and engaged in lively discussions on the manufacturing process, performance indicators, inspection and testing, equipment support, and quality commitments of the product. They discussed the product name and standard draft for application
